Stand Out From the Crowd with “The Cricket”: Meet Our New, Clear Ticket and Credential Product

Stand Out From the Crowd with The Cricket Meet Our New, Clear Ticket and Credential ProductIf you regularly organize events, you probably get bored with looking at the same kinds of tickets all the time. Even if you try to order custom tickets or use a new design, it doesn’t always make it into the kind of keepsake that gets guests thinking about their memories of your event and how much they enjoyed themselves. If you’re looking for a truly unique ticketing product that will take your event to the next level in professionalism and great design, Worldwide Ticketcraft has just the thing available! It’s called The Cricket, which is essentially an oversized ticket printed on a clear plastic. With a single glance, these new clear tickets grab attention like no other admissions product.

Most tickets are fairly impersonal, and produced at the lowest cost available, with simple text for the event details, and a plain background. Paper or cardstock tickets and credential badges are also not the most durable, often requiring laminating or plastic sleeves if they will be used over multiple days. The Cricket is different; these durable plastic creations have a multitude of features which make them stand apart from a traditional ticket, including:

  • Full color printing on clear plastic. These tickets are vibrant like no other admissions product, with high quality, colorful inks that really “pop”!
  • Personalized for each patron. Each ticket or credentials badge is individually printed, so the customization options are endless.
  • White ink for opacity and variable information. For contrast against the clear background, and effective visual communication, white ink can be used in addition to black and colors.
  • 20 and 30 mil thickness options. Choose your durability depending on your needs.
  • Any shape or size. However you want to design your ticket or other admissions and events product, you have complete flexibility with The Cricket. Let your imagination run wild!
  • Slot punch for attaching lanyards. Make badges simple to design with this optional feature.

Worldwide Ticketcraft has developed and tested the clear ticket to meet the highest quality standards. Your guests will be impressed by these gorgeous tickets and events products—designed for multiple uses, The Cricket can meet the needs of any venue for admission, ID verification, or special access. Each printed item can be personalized for individual patrons to include a barcode, consecutive number, name, date, or whatever other information you require. Thanks to this unlimited customizability, The Cricket goes beyond just ticketing. Here are a few other options for this revolutionary admissions product:

  • Backstage Pass
  • Membership Pass
  • Commemorative Ticket
  • Sideline Pass
  • Suite Holder Badge
  • Parking Hang Tag
  • Opening Day or Night Admission
  • Oversize specialty ticket
  • Whatever else you can dream up!

Not only does this give you the freedom to design just about anything for your upcoming event, it also makes for a great souvenir for guests to hold onto. Unlike a paper ticket stub, your attendees will want to keep their beautiful clear ticket or badge. When they look at it, they’ll appreciate the effort put into designing a beautiful and functional ticket. The memories of your event will remain strong in their minds, and that’s one of the best ways to attract repeat patrons to your events in future! When you’re ready to make the leap to the next big advance in admissions products, learn more about The Cricket and request a quote here.

EventD8 Has Florida’s Nightclub Security Scene Covered

Florida Nightclub

Summer is here and the nightlife in Southern Florida has heated up! With so many clubs on the nightlife scene, large venues may admit thousands of guests per night—which means thousands of IDs for door security to check and thousands of people for staff on the floor to keep track of on the dance floor and at the bar. Organized admissions policies and clear door security practices are essential for the smooth, orderly, and enjoyable operation of nightclubs. At particularly large nightclubs, like Club La Vela in Panama City Beach, FL (Florida’s largest nightclub, whose tagline is “Party With Thousands”), consistent ticketing and security credentials are of utmost importance. Ensuring that every admitted guest has paid the cover, is of legal age, and displays a drink wristband (if over 21) protects club owners and boosts business by:

  1. Protecting the club legally by ensuring that everyone being served or drinking alcohol displays the proper wristband denoting that they are over 21. Floor security can easily spot underage drinkers who aren’t sporting a brightly colored wristband.
  2. Reduces the need for additional security on roof decks and patios because only paying guests displaying wristbands can re-enter. This also means less hassle for guests who want to step outside for some fresh air because they don’t have to worry about carrying around a ticket stub or having to wait in line to re-enter.
  3. Gives guests a sense of confidence and allows them to relax and enjoy the club knowing that there are orderly security measures in place to protect them.

We sell several products tailored to meet the multi-leveled security and admission needs of nightclubs offering dancing, drinks, live music, and special events. First, our brightly colored Tyvek wristbands are quick, tamper-proof and let floor security know that guests have been properly checked at the door. Bands come in seven colors with prices as low as $.02/band. Bands can be used in a variety of ways. Club owners may simply want each guest to wear one band to signify admittance though adding an additional drink band saves bar staff time when they’re assured that a customer’s ID has already been checked once. VIP guests will stand out and can flaunt their status with a laminated VIP pass, and security crew badges offer properly displayed and clear credentials to internal and external security staff, providing for ease of operations as well as allowing guests to relax and enjoy the club.

Many of Florida’s larger nightclubs also host weekly, monthly, and one-time DJ’s or acts. EventD8’s wide selection of themed music tickets allow for quick admittance of paying guests as well as a souvenir; guests keep their bragging rights with a custom ticket stub from the best EDM show of the summer. Tickets and wristbands allow for multi-layered security and ensure club owners that no one is crashing the show—a plus for entertainers, as well.

Whether your nightclub hosts special events, VIP guests, world-class entertainers, or nightly DJ’s and dancing, EventD8 has your security covered.

EventD8 Products Offer Security Features to Protect Artists and Venues

Our tickets not only beat the competition on price, design, and quality, but also offer essential security features to provide additional security at the door. It’s important to our artists, who have put so much time, care, and energy into creating their brand and sound, to choose a ticketing company who offers security as a standard. Our custom tickets feature two gold foils on the front, sequential numbering, and a clear varnish. The gold foils, which appear as a check mark and lock, are located on the front of tickets. Ticket backs include a clear varnish reading “VALID GENUINE” across the top. The words appear glossier than the ticket stock, and can be felt by running a finger across the ticket back. Additionally tickets are sequentially ordered and venues or artists can choose the starting number; this numbering is useful for ticket sale tracking and crowd control. These security features make tickets difficult to replicate. We’ve put together the above short video to better illustrate our security features.

Our tickets can be personalized and ordered in a variety of colors, styles, and themes. Ticket designs are set against a backdrop of one of up to six colors to separate performances with multiple dates or times. This allows venues and artists to easily glance at a ticket-holder’s ticket stub and see that the color corresponds with the correct day of the event. The back of our 2×5.5” tickets includes a generic disclaimer used for most ticketed events and buyers can choose Spanish or English for this disclaimer. The 1.25” ticket stub is numbered to track attendance and has four lines on the back for use as a raffle ticket. Alternatively, vendors may choose to waive the disclaimer or send us their personal artwork or ad to be included on the back of the ticket. Custom event products are affordable, easy to personalize, and ship in 3-5 business days.

We also offer concert credentials to cover internal access to your event. These include backstage passes for VIP, security, or crew and can be used to identify volunteers, vendors, or media. These badges are laminated and sturdy and come in a choice of six colors. Personalized artwork and text can be included.

With all of the security features we offer, artists and venues can rest assured that only paying ticket-holders are making their way through the door. Our mission is to help you sell tickets and stay protected so your business can thrive. We are motivated to help you sell tickets, retain fans and attract future audiences! The Best Rodeos to Hit the Stadium this Summer

RodeoNothing gets the folks here at EventD8 riled up like a rodeo! Whether we’re watching mutton busting or steer roping, we’re on the edge of our seats. Rodeo is the only professional sport that sprung from an industry and a way of life, and has become a real west tradition. There are too many rodeos across America to count, and while we can’t list them all here we can tell you about some annual, can’t-miss rodeos spanning all across the West.

Our top picks take place year-round, so we’ll start with the northwestern rodeos and work our way down. Washington state’s Ellensburg Rodeo has taken place for over 75 years and is second in size only to Alberta’s Calgary Stampede. This leading rodeo festival of over 600 contestants and $400k in cash prizes takes place over Labor Day weekend. Just one state east, the five-day Caldwell Night Rodeo takes place in mid-August in the Boise, ID metro area. Fans can get their bulldogging on at the Pendleton Round-Up, one of the ten largest rodeos in the world. Events take place in mid-September in Pendleton, OR—or the “The Real West”, as the town motto reads. Cowboys and girls can watch bronc and bull riding against a stunning backdrop of the sun setting over the Rockies at the Yellowstone Rodeo, where kids can also safely compete in the calf scramble.

The granddaddy of rodeos, Cheyenne Frontier Days, is an absolute must see. The annual events attract almost 200,000 guests who can enjoy rodeo events, track acts, and free pancakes! Denver’s National Western Stock Show is the second largest rodeo in the US and has been around over a century. The event boasts many kid-friendly activities, as does the Rocky Mountain Stampede, where rodeo meets fireworks, art displays, music concerts, and barbecue. Nebraskaland Days in North Platte was first established by Buffalo Bill, who considered the city his hometown. Midwestern fans also flock to Kansas’ Dodge City Roundup Rodeo, a ten day event where championship cowboys and cowgirls compete in front of 100,000 fans for cash payouts of over $200k.

At some point, all rodeo fans make their way to National Finals Rodeo—the “Super Bowl of Rodeo”. During this ten day, Las Vegas event, the country’s top 15 cowboys and cowgirls compete for the World Championships. Nevada also hosts the smaller Laughlin River Stampede, the Reno Rodeo, billed as the “wildest and richest rodeo in the West”, and Miss Rodeo America, an annual pageant where contestants compete in horsemanship, appearance, and personality. In Arizona, fans can enjoy the world’s oldest rodeo at Prescott Frontier Days and the world’s oldest, continuous junior rodeo, the Florence Junior Parada. The pageantry-lover will appreciate Tucson’s La Fiesta De Los Vaqueros.

Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo and the Southwest Exposition Livestock Show and Rodeo both take place in Fort Worth, TX and are billed as the birthplace of bulldogging and the original indoor rodeo, respectively. Finally, don’t miss the world’s largest live entertainment and livestock show at Rodeo Houston, which takes place in Houston’s 1,900,000 square foot Reliant Stadium.

Whether you’re birthing a new rodeo or running an established one, EventD8 can fully outfit your admission needs with tickets, wrist bands, passes, and more. In addition to the best prices, zero ticket-back ad fees, and numerous security features, EventD8 tickets are customizable. Vendors and venues can choose from numerous ticket designs, including four rodeo designs that capture the lone west feeling and grit of the sport. Tickets are 2.5×5” and bulk prices start as low as $25. Personalizing tickets on our website is a cinch, and each design comes in six different colors for events that span multiple days. Ticket back features include the option to include Spanish and/or English disclaimers (or to waive a disclaimer), and the option to place an ad or upload original artwork or text.

The Best Music Festivals Coming to Your Town this Summer 2014

Music-Festivals

Music Festivals have become one of the most popular ways for audiences to consume music over the past decade. The big, popular festivals—Lollapalooza, Coachella, Warped Tour, and SXSW aren’t the only shows featuring outstanding artists both new and established. While many spring festivals have already wrapped up in the hotter, southern states, a host of others are right around the corner. Read on for our top picks of the summer festival circuit.

Gorge, Washington’s Sasquatch! Festival is this weekend, May 23-25, and will feature some huge names like MIA and Outkast as well as newer popular artists like Foster the People and Kid Cudi. EDM fans can catch the Electric Daisy Festival this weekend in NYC or Mysteryland in Bethel, NY. Southerners still have a chance to catch some amazing acts at the Bayou Country Superfest May 23-25, as well, in Baton Rouge. If you attended New York’s Governors Ball last year on Randall’s Island, you’re sure to meet with sunnier skies if you attend this year—the 2013 festival weathered a tropical storm. Manchester, TN’s Bonaroo features a lineup this year that rivals even last year’s Paul McCartney, Bjork, and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers with classic greats from a younger generation: The Flaming Lips, Neutral Milk Hotel, and Lauryn Hill among many others. Dover, DE’s beautiful woodlands will host Edward Sharpe, Weezer, and Pretty Lights this year’s Firefly Music Festival in June. The start-up festival has a campground available and a lineup of great food, as well.

Essence Fest in NOLA on Fourth of July weekend features none other than Prince—a must-not-miss! The summer wraps up nicely in Chicago with Lollapalooza in August, and Riot Fest, a nearly two week long, indie-punk festival in September. If you can’t make the trek to Chicago for one last summer show, aim farther south and spend a weekend in the Dreamville campground at TomorrowWorld in Chattahoochee, GA, September 26-28. The festival debuted last year and incorporates international acts.

At EventD8, we couldn’t be happier with the increasing popularity of music festivals. We are here to support artists—both well-known and emerging—in supplying tickets, passes, wristbands, and more for festivals and concerts. Give Your Audience a Keepsake as Unique as the Music You Play

All that Jazz

Like many music lovers, I have a collection of concert ticket stubs that covers over a decade of some of the best years of my life. These simple souvenirs hold some amazing memories for me—especially the ones with a unique design, color scheme, or image to jog my memory. These particular keepsakes—the personalized ones—made me feel special. Even though the bands I was going to hear are well-known musicians, the songs would never be played exactly like they were the night I was there. Just being there in the moment, make the event about much more than just the music, it was an experience.

Take our Jazz Fire theme tickets, for example. Jazz is music unlike any other: there’s improvisation, a cascading range of vocal instrumentals, and of course that warm, gold brass. Even popular songs take on a hot, fresh sound in a jazz lounge. The fire theme embodies the passion and intensity of live jazz. And who doesn’t love the intimacy and romance of a darkened jazz club? One tiny ticket stub ushers in a host of happy memories of nights spent in brassy nightclubs sipping wine with someone special.

Whether you’re an emerging, indie band playing at dives or a well-known pop artist filling huge stadiums, your fans are your fans because your music speaks to them in a unique way. If you are an artist who will be performing in a small, intimate venue, you can order as few as 100 customized tickets for $25. Large jazz festivals can order 3000 tickets for $150 and it’s easy to order 2 lots of tickets, one color for general admission tickets and another for VIP tickets. Show your fans you recognize how special they are by putting in a little extra effort into creating customized tickets for your next concert or tour.

How Advertising on the Back of Music Festival Tickets Can Benefit Your Business

MUSIC-FESTIVAL

Music festivals have become much more than cultural events where attendees share common interests and identities, they have become increasingly popular among many companies’ key marketing demographic of young adults. By advertising on the back of tickets for festivals like Coachella, sponsors can easily gain exposure to a million or more target clients at one event. With the cost of advertising on festival tickets averaging just pennies per ticket, the small investment in marketing is well worth it, especially considering that many concert-goers keep tickets stubs as sentimental keepsakes long after the event.

Even if your business isn’t large enough to sponsor tickets at a super event like Coachella, you can apply this idea to a smaller business as well. At EventD8, we offer blank, bulk music festival tickets that can be personalized with your unique message. With rates as low as $.05 per ticket, the cost to local businesses such a restaurants and stores bear very little cost in exchange for reaching hundreds or thousands of potential customers, especially when working in conjunction with us to personalize the tickets. Utilizing the back of the music festival ticket is one of the easiest ways to promote your business and to a great way to get your brand directly into the hands of your target market. Our tickets are 2″ x 5.5” and the otherwise unused space on the back of the tickets can serve as a mini-billboard for your business.

With summer approaching, tourism will soon be in full swing and your town’s calendar is sure to be brimming with music festivals. Start planning your ticket marketing campaign now, we can help you find the venue or target market you want to reach and reap the rewards!
